The project dis_func dives into a personal experience of not being able to express who you are. This involves holding onto opinions, identity and feelings, in fear of being judged, not accepted and ostracized to the point that it becomes destructive. The exploration draws inspiration from principles within Butoh and expressionist visual art, with a strong interest in the inner darkness within humans. The material wants to embody the inner feelings and make room for the individual performers' genuine impulses.
